Today I'm going to tell you about a nature experience I once had a few years ago. Here's how it started. I was raking leaves at my cottage when a flock of geese flew off the lake. I noticed that one seemed to be larger than the others. Then it flew unbelievably low to the house and I realized that it was a bald eagle!

They were right next to this stone wall with plants inside. Then they climbed into the plants and sat. Then they crawled into this little hole. There were about 5 bunnies and the mom. They were really cute! Also, I have good news I broke my bad habit! Now I don't annoy people.

HELLO YOUNGLINGS!!! I have a story to tell you! One day when I was little I went to a place called Nilnoc. It was a very nice experience. I got to sleep in real log cabin! (even though it looked like a tent.) I also got up close and personal with a porcupine! I named him porkey. I loved him until he got killed! I also went fishing and caught 6 fish. Three of them got released, but Bill Phil and Will (the twins) became fish stix for dinner. It's sad. I also went morel mushroom hunting. It was very fun, even though we only found like three. It was a really great experience and I had s'mores pretty much every night I was there. Well that's the end of my story. Ow! my back hurts. Better go. BYE!!! (cough cough)

My class [s/d's] went on a creek walk and I went [accidentally] in the deep end , and I amost drowned. It was up to my waist or higher .
I remember thinking that it keeps geting deeper and deeper.
When I came out I was soaking wet.

Once I was walking my dog Donna. First a raccoon fell out of a tree (but it was not hurt) then Donna got into a fight with a wild turkey then a squirrel fell out of a tree. It was the craziest walk ever!!

One day outside at recess some of the kids including me found a toad that got run over by a lawnmower and three of its legs were off. Also you could see part of its guts that were ripped out. Today I was looking at something besides my spot. I was looking at a flat stick about 6-8 in. long. This stick had a light color in general, but there was patches of dark. The strange thing about the dark patches was that they did not seem to come from dampness. The stick also had lots of cracks of different sizes, but the largest cracks seemed to ocurr on the ends.

The picture I took was of a lily of the valley flower. It is very very beautiful and it smells very very good. The leaves are large compared to the flower and the flowers remind me of popcorn and bells, it is my favorite kind of flower, it also reminds me of little lamps.

Hi, first I'm going to tell you about a few changes in the area. Remember those plants I was telling you about, the vine-like ones, well there are a few more of them and the ones that were already there are a little taller. Also, the insect level has increased a tiny bit because when I went out there water bugs were on the creek. The moss that is on the ground of my spot now seems to cover more of the surface near the creek. All around in the creek there were large populations of algae growing on the sticks and branches and rocks in the creek.

Today it is very warm and sunny. There are a lot of blooms on trees and algae. There are no animals around. A lot of insects are flying around though. The soil is damp. I saw a lot of rocks. I heard water splashing. I smelled tree bark. I touched the water in the creek.

When I went down to pick an observation spot, I ended up with a very peaceful place with a lot of moss and roots. I also had a part of a creek in my range. I heard a high-pitched choppy, rapid bird call somewhere in the trees. Just above my spot, there were two semi-short trees shading the area. Toward the edge of the creek, there were vine-like, bright green-leaved plants growing.

My spot is at the edge of a forest off to the left of a stone bridge. When you are facing the woods, my area is sort of hidden. My spot seems like it was made for someone to discover. Bye!
